Customers with maintenance contract can download it simply by using the description provided in the document Installation_VISUM120.pdf of the VISUM 12.00 installation or previous installations , under C:\Program Files\PTV_Vision\VISUM120\Doc\Eng etc. (or equivalent on the user machine). Essentially you will need your 6-digit customer ID (written on the dongle or all documentation sent to you) plus init and setup files to install the new version.
In general please make sure you subscribe to the updates system for the product you use through this web site, the 'service pack' area. You will then receive an email every time a new patch is issued. Those patches also carry usually new features of the program too. The password you need to access the patches area (available to all customers) is written in the Doc\Eng\DownloadServicePacks.txt file of your installation. And this is valid for all customers, not just those with maintenance. If in doubt please contact us.
