Query:

In headway-based assignment, do you have at your disposal any other way to calculate heaways beyond the two resident methods “expected headway from random access node” and “time intervals resulting from mean headway according to timetable” ?

Answer

We have. In the attached (please click here to access) we offer a different method whereby the time interval serves only the purpose of restricting the services being analysed but is not regarded in the calculation unless there is one service only (for that interval) in which case headway is associated the duration of the interval chosen. The user can define any number of intervals to analyse.
