2nd VISSIM User
Group Meeting in the UK
(update of 5th
April 2002)
PTV together with Faber Maunsell
organizes this event.
The
2nd UK VISSIM User Group Meeting will be held at Imperial College London
on 10 April 2002. Details of the venue, programme, and how to register can be
found in this page which is constantly updated.
The
leaflet of the event (.pdf file) with the final programme is accessible by
clicking here.
A version
of it limited to the presentations of April 10 is accessible here.
We
calculate that to cover the costs, which include lunch and refreshments, a fee
of £ 120 will be required.
The
user community as expressed interest in modelling signal controllers via
VAP/VISVAP, dynamic assignment and training for beginners. Therefore we will
have 2 parallel sessions. In the ‘advanced’ one, 2/3 of the time
will be devoted to VAP/VISVAP, 1/3 to dynamic assignment. In the ‘beginners’
one, participants will get familiar with the program. Staff from Karlsruhe
(Sven Beller) and PTV-UK (Sergio Grosso) will run it.
Participants
will need to bring their own laptops, though no VISSIM licence is required.
Again to cover costs, we will charge £ 120 for the training.
A
sociable event might be organized on the evening of April 9 in London.
Please
let us know if you wish to take part.
To
register for either of the two events or both, please let us have your name,
organisation, business address, phone and email. If you wish, you can register
by filling in and returning the excel proforma, which can be found by clicking here
(there is only one registration form with two entries, one for the User Group
Meeting and one for the Training). We can fax/email it to you on request. A fee
of £ 120 will be required for either of the events. PTV will invoice each
participant who is not a presenter for this amount after the User Group Meeting.
The deadline for the registration is April 5.
